Outside my window...gray and rainy. A day at the zoo with visiting cousins will be a day at the House of Bounce instead. Its all good, we do love and miss our cousins so much.
I am hearing...children in the front room, chatting, I've just been informed today is gmail's birthday.
I am thinking...I am happy it is Holy Week. I'm looking forward to some CGS presentations and reading from our many beautiful reflective Easter books.
From the school room...We will still school this week, leaving plenty of time for checking on the bluebells and preparing for Easter.
Living the Liturgy...Holy Week. We will go to Mass Thursday night and perhaps Sam will get his feet washed again this year. Stations on Friday. Easter Saturday we'll hunt for eggs at my parent's parish. It has become tradition. After we'll head to a local park and check out their bluebells. We've never been there, so we're curious to see if they are as spectacular as the ones at Bull Run.
Around the house...just trying to maintain general order and as always, laundry.
From the kitchen...I'm hoping for sudden inspiration for menus this week. Every now and then I get bored and uninspired. I think this time I'm just pining for the farmer's market . I so love the idea of cooking locally and in season.
I am hoping...for lots of sunshine this week and especially next. We plan on being in the woods.
I am thankful...for sweet baby girl cousins with big brown eyes and delicious thighs. And for the grace of Baptism. Welcome Julia Belen!
I am reading... Spiritual Childhood.
One of my favorite things...Bluebell week. Can you tell I've got a one track mind these days.
A few plans for the rest of the week...bouncing, woods and prayer and preparation for a joyous Easter
A picture thought I'm sharing...
