Yesterday we tried our hands at "real" watercolors. What a treat! Of course, knowing how I operate, I decided to actually get us using them we just needed to open them, hand out brushes and water and get to painting.
Ooooo, I loved mixing those colors and adding just the right amount of water. I loved the feel of the brush softly sweeping across the paper. I loved wetting the brush a bit and muting my first strokes into soft edges.
I think the kids liked it to.
