Very late in posting, but there are no games this week so its okay.
The girls played the brute force team. (I am not making this up) Their coaches name is Coach Payne. Anyhow, they were not as brutal and played a much cleaner game. We lost, but not by a lot. We didn't play as well as we could have. Still, it is frustrating to see my dear Maddy playing her best defense and getting her arms slapped down. Since this usually happened away from the ball, the refs don't really see it. Maddy got a great steal on a pass. Both girls took their first foul shots. Maddy nearly made them. A little more practice and she'll have it down.
Sam's team lost. He scored. Not much else to say for the poor boy's team.
