Sam's team...needs some work. They try hard and all of them really want to play, but it just hasn't come together for them yet. Part of the problem is they are a big team, and with so many players to rotate in and out, it is tough for them to get in a rhythm with each other. Sam had a great play, pulling off keeping control of the ball wall nearly falling, but dribbling that ball so he wouldn't get caught travelling. He has a great shot for being such a little guy.
The girls had another decisive victory at 22-6. Once again they both played a great game. Both of them scored. They had a great time. Their whole team showed great teamwork and are really getting the feel for how to run a play rather than just throwing the ball around until someone is close enough to take a shot.
I had a moment of sheer joy watching my two big girls out on the court, talking basketball, encouraging each other. They are so close and love each other so much. I can't imagine one without the other.
