Daybook Entry: Can We Go to the Pool Edition

Outside my window...bright and sunny, guess we're headed to the pool.

I am hearing...a play piano tinkling, kids sharing apple bread.

I am thinking...John is fussing like he needs his nap.

From the school room...holiday today (hooray!) but back to routine tomorrow. The Native American main lesson books are looking lovely. Carmen in particular just loves working on it and making it beautiful.

Living the Liturgy...preparing for Pentecost! I have a plan. Maybe I'll post or maybe we'll go to the pool ;).

Around the house...Lots of laundry...don't ask...I don't want to talk about it, it just needs to get done. (Yes, a repeat, I'm not talking about it.)

From the kitchen...Maybe roasted beets from the Farmer's Market?

I am hoping...the pool will encourage Aggie to potty-train. It worked like a charm with Kay 3 years ago. We'll see.

I am thankful...for my husband. Yesterday we celebrated 15 years of marriage. Love him more than ever. Our daughters can hardly believe that we've known each other since we were their age. (That would be 13.)

I am reading... Tears of God. I'll be reviewing it as soon as I'm done. Um, not reading this one very quickly am I?

One of my favorite things...the Farmer's Market. I read Fruitless Fall in a day this weekend and was so inspired/frightened I didn't mind paying $8.50 for a jar of local wildflower honey. You get what you pay for and let me tell you, it is so yummy.

A few plans for the rest of the week...Living life, loving my family, prayer. This week I'm feeling called to be purposeful (is that a word?) and fully present, to truly embrace my vocation.

A picture thought I'm sharing...
