Outside my window...sunny and bright, but sadly there is still a chill in the air. Will spring ever get here?
I am hearing...Aggie crying and complaining. She has a bad cold and I'm trying to limit her contact with John. Its breaking her heart, she loves him so.
I am thinking...I need to plan the meals and shopping list for this week.
From the school room...I also need to plan an in-between week. I've switched gears and decided to go with the Native American plans. I think we need to have some weeks of creativity and beauty as we welcome the spring. And it made sense to spend time with this unit after just having been introduced to native people by Lewis and Clark. So why in-between? Need to order some books and materials this morning that probably won't arrive until the end of the week.
Living the Liturgy...Feast of the Annunciation this week.
Around the house...laundry, laundry, laundry. And here's where I admit there is still work in the schoolroom. I think this in-between week will actually meet many needs.
From the kitchen...hot coffee...need some.
I am hoping...for warm spring air. Soon.
I am thankful for...my parents and their beautiful marriage.
I am reading... Spiritual Childhood.
One of my favorite things...John. I still look down at him often and cry, thinking of the great miracle God gave us at his birth.
A few plans for the rest of the week...light schooling, deep cleaning (I want to purge a whole bunch of clothes), Annunciation, play performances for my big girls, and hopefully speedy recoveries.
A picture thought I'm sharing...
