If there is one thing I've learned in life it is never doubt the ability of even your very best well laid plans to fizzle.
Is that depressing?
I don't mean it to be. I am trying very hard to be true what I believe about the habits of discipline in my home. I even started a post about education is a life. Key words: trying and started.
And still I am planning away, looking forward eagerly (even as I feel myself floundering a bit) at new and wonderful plans for a full and exciting new school year. It is believing that we will find a beautiful and harmonious rhythm that keeps me motivated these days. And prayer, lots of prayer. Turning to Christ as my strength and my hope carries me through the day and brings peace to my heart.
So, for today, updating some things around here. Maddy has taken many beautiful pictures this summer and I'm going to snag one for a new header. I'm going to update sidebars and booklists. I am going to do laundry. I am going to smile and thank God again for my full and exciting life.

Blogging? And reading blogs? I've been too busy to write about what we're doing!
The blueberries are so lovely! After you pointing out that the blueberry colors are so much like hydrangeas (my favorite flowers) I can't look at a hydr. bush the same!
I hope your son is on the mend very soon! I loved talking with you, and I hope it will be sooner rather than later that we can do it again!
