Pictures are coming....
It was a wonderful day. It was made wonderful simply by Carmen's joy at receiving Our Lord. She looked so beautiful! And all my other preparations paled in comparison to her joy.
I am still adjusting to the fact that four of my children have passed this milestone already. I am amazed at how differently each of them has prepared for and approached the Blessed Sacrament. It makes me even more grateful and awed by the gift my children are to me, to our family.
But I will have a first in the coming school year. Maddy will be Confirmed. And that takes my breath away. I can hardly believe that my Maddy, my little daughter, has grown so much.
