On Friday my father became an American citizen. It was so wonderful to be able to go with all the children. There were nearly 100 people from every corner of the world taking their oaths of loyalty to their new country. What an oath it is! It was very moving and I felt great pride in my country but most especially in my father who has already done so much to make this country a little bit better.
