What about her parents

This from Buffalo, NY. My question is, what about her parents? Or the parents of the all those kids signing a petition. Sure, that's how Catholic teaching works. Sign a petition, appeal to our emotions and we'll change it, just for you. And why the administration suddenly know that she wanted to bring her girlfirend? Who told them? This sounds like such a publicity stunt.
